The Amprep platform is a web-based collaborative platform, meaning that all of your registered users can access the platform from anywhere in the world where they have an internet connection. The platform has been designed to work with mobile devices just as easily as desk-top computers. Some users may encounter a few issues with certain mobile browsers, but this is a problem with the browsers which we can’t do anything about.
We use servers equipped with the latest security, and have built a number of security failsafes into the platform. You can use it with complete confidence.
We do not provide the personal information of anyone who registers on your platform to anyone else. Nor will we make your users’ details available to any of our other customers. All of your contributors’ information is available to you. The terms on which you collect it are for you to decide.
Within reason there is no upper limit on the number of manuscripts the Amprep platform can handle.
Yes. Currently videos are made available to reviewers and editors for download. We are working on integrating videos into the Amprep editor/reviewer page.
Yes. Contributors, editors and reviewers are currently asked to log in to each publication separately, but this doesn’t prevent you having a single account. Publishers are given access to a separate part of the platform where they can go to each publication from a single homepage and download content for copy editing, typesetting and publication.
It is very easy to withdraw a manuscript, edit it and re-submit it. Reviewers are asked to check and confirm their reviews before submitting them, making mistakes very rare.
When a manuscript is sent for publication the publisher is able to download a zip file containing all of its various parts. Text is available both in the original format and in pdf, while images and videos are provided as uploaded, meaning that there is no degradation in quality.
